In the 1990s, Chinese medicine practitioners gradually developed in New Zealand. In order to provide a sense of home for those who had wandered far from home, the association was finally formally established with the support of the people.

To integrate into the New Zealand healthcare environment, the association organized its members, who are qualified TCM practitioners in China, to systematically learn about relevant New Zealand regulations and systems, and all of them completed their registration with the New Zealand ACC (Accounting Authority).
